Rihanna was born in Saint Michael and grew up in Bridgetown, Barbados became an audition for Evan Rogers, an American record producer. He invited her to the United States to record demo tapes. After joining Def Jam in 2005, Rihanna gained acclaim with the release of her album debuts, Music of the Sun (2005) and A Girl Like Me (2006) and A Girl Like Me (2006), both of which were influenced by Caribbean music, and both reached the top 10 of the US Billboard 200 chart. Good Girl Gone Bad (2007) was Rihanna’s third album. This album featured elements from dance-pop and made Rihanna a symbol for sex in the music industry. Rihanna's debut Grammy Award was won for her hit song "Umbrella", which catapulted Rihanna into international fame. Rihanna continued to mix pop, dance and R&B genres on her next studio albums, Rated R (2009) Loud (2010), Talk That Talk (2011), and Unapologetic (2012) The last of which was her first Billboard 200 number one. The albums also produced a variety of chart-topping songs, including "Rude Boy", “Only Girl (In the World)," and "What's My Name?" ", "S&M", “We Found Love” "Where Have You Been” and "Diamonds". Anti (2016), her eighth studio album was her debut album since she left Def Jam. The album was her second US top-selling album and also featured the hit single "Work". Rihanna has collaborated with a variety of artists over her musical career. They include Jay-Z and Kanye West. Jay-Z, Jay-Z, Kanye Ne-Yo, Jay-Z and Shakira. Rihanna, who has sold over 250,000,000 records in the world and is the second-highest-selling female musician in the music industry. She has had a number one and 31 top ten top singles in the US and also a top ten artist in the UK with 30 songs.
